Returns Policy
Faulty items
If something we sold you is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Those rights apply regardless of anything written here, and they are not limited by the goodwill window further down this page.
Within 30 days of purchase you can return a faulty item and we will give you a full refund. You do not have to accept a repair or a replacement instead.
After 30 days we will repair or replace the item, free of charge and within a reasonable time. If that is not possible, or it does not fix the problem, you are entitled to a refund or a price reduction.
In the first six months, a fault is assumed to have been there when you bought the item unless we can show otherwise. After six months, we may ask you to show that the fault was present at the time of sale.
We do not charge you for the return, the inspection or the postage on a faulty item.
Replacement instead of a refund
If you would rather have the same item again than take your money back, tell us and we will replace it where we have stock. Choosing a replacement does not give up your right to a refund later if the replacement turns out to be faulty too.
Changed your mind
Buying in a shop is different from buying online. By law there is no automatic right to return an item simply because you have changed your mind — online orders carry a 14-day cooling-off period, in-store purchases do not. We offer one anyway, as a goodwill gesture.
Accessories — exchange or refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided the item is unused and in its original packaging.
Phones — exchange or refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided the phone is unused and undamaged, and comes back complete with its box, charger and everything it was sold with.
Please bring your receipt. This goodwill window is in addition to your legal rights on faulty goods, not instead of them.
What we cannot take back
- Screen protectors once they have been fitted
- SIM cards and top-up vouchers once activated or used
- Items damaged after purchase, or returned with missing parts or packaging
- Items brought back outside the goodwill window that are not faulty
None of this affects your rights if the item turns out to be faulty.
Repairs
If a repair develops the same fault again within the warranty period, bring it back and we'll put it right, free of charge — see our warranty information. Our standard approach is to fix the issue again rather than offer a cash refund on repair labour.
This doesn't affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: if a repair wasn't carried out with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to have it put right, a price reduction, or in some circumstances a refund, regardless of what's written here.
Proof of purchase
Bring your receipt, or the WhatsApp confirmation we sent you. If you have lost both, speak to us — we can usually find the sale in our records.
How we pay refunds
Refunds go back the way you paid. Card payments return to the same card, and cash purchases are refunded in cash. We do this straight away wherever we can, and in any case without undue delay.
Before you bring a device back
Please back up anything on the device that matters to you, and remove any lock or account that would stop us testing it. We cannot be held responsible for data left on a device that is returned, exchanged or replaced.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy reduces your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other consumer protection law. Where this policy and the law disagree, the law applies.
How to start a return
Bring the item and your proof of purchase to the shop, or call or message us first and we will tell you what to bring. We are at 73 Holloway Road, London N7 8JZ — 07464 354472, phone or WhatsApp.
